Mirjam's wedding dress

I appreciate the brides who think early – we can go through all the details and the knitting of a dress, which takes time, wouldn’t stay at the last minute. Mirjam found me in February 2016. By July 20th, the seamstress had the raw material for her underdress ready, and I was able to start knitting. Exactly a month and 2 days later the dress was ready – with sufficient time the bride could calmly focus on other wedding matters.
For the underdress (as for several of the following), we collaborated with Jaanika Studio, the beautiful bride whom I was honored to knit with just the previous time – the right people come into our lives at exactly the right time.

The photos are born of the magnificent Grethe Rõõm’s camera job.
The woven dresses are wonderfully airy and light – although it took 2.7 kilometres of yarn to dress here, it weighs just 193 grams!

Wish you a beautiful and joyful time together!
